Released a month before the U.S. presidential elections, Peace Not War, Vol. 2 is a collection of 37 songs on two discs, one called "Beats" and the other "Chords." Everything was chosen from artist submissions, which means that, besides big names like Michael Franti, Faithless, Ani DiFranco, Anti-Flag, and quite a few groups off the Quannum label, there are a bunch of little-known 7/

I'm new into vinyl and I'm not sure if it's worth spending much more money in original pressings rather than buying an g reissue. I've heard that most of these reissues are copied directly from a digital recording (or a CD) and the sound quality is not the best.

Oddly enough, the iconic record was met with mixed reviews — Rolling Stone called.

The Morning After is a near perfect follow-up to the J. Geils Band’s self-titled debut album. It’s more of the same winning blend of rocked-out blues, jumped-up soul, and pure rock & roll wildness with enough attitude and energy to get a club full of people from zero to sweaty in less than 60 seconds.
